Sponsored by the Tennessee Recreation and Parks Association, and the National Recreation and Park Association, this course is the most comprehensive training program on playground hazard identification and risk management methods offered. Advanced reading and ten hours of training will prepare you to sit for the Certified Playground Safety Inspector Exam, scheduled at the culmination of this certification course. WHO SHOULD ATTEND? Anyone who is responsible for the design, creation, care and/or maintenance of a public playground.
Each participant will receive a Course Manual which includes the current ASTM and CPSC standards.
Class Size: Registration is on a first come-first served basis and the class and exam limit is 60.
Cancellation Policy: No cancellations will be accepted after 5/1/2025. Substitutions are encouraged if someone cannot attend.
